Our omega-3 fish oils are derived exclusively from wild-caught, cold-water fish. We select omega-3-rich species that are not at risk of being overfished, working with fisheries that are certified sustainable by Friend of the Sea (FOS).
The primary fish species in our fish oil products are sardines, anchovies, mackerel, and herring. These species naturally contain significant levels of the omega-3s EPA and DHA. They reproduce early and accumulate fewer environmental toxins because of their short lifespans.
We also continue to source our cod liver oil products from Arctic cod, which contains significant levels of omega-3s EPA and DHA, as well as naturally occurring vitamins A and D.
